Current Need: Socks!!!
We are desperately asking for socks for the upcoming winter months! Why?
Socks are often the most needed and also the least donated item for homeless shelters. They are crucial for hygiene and health, protecting your feet from infections, blisters, and the cold. A new and clean pair of socks helps prevent serious foot ailments… which are a common reason for emergency room visits among the homeless.

We still need no-sew blankets!
These blankets are easy to make and only require a few tools… which you probably already own! All you need is two pieces of fleece, cut into even squares or rectangles, depending on the shape you are hoping to achieve. Simply cut horizontal slits into the edge of the fleece, and tie the two pieces of fleece together. For more detailed instructions, check out this video on YouTube!

Drop off your blankets at 514 W. Elmwood Avenue, Mechanicsburg or 217 Pine Road, Mount Holly Springs.

We are searching for volunteers!
Right now, we need additional distribution coordinators to help us deliver our collected items to several partner organizations around the central Pennsylvania area. These positions are huge in helping us continue our mission and are the forward face of our organization, ensuring all our hard work is delivered to those who need it most! We are also always accepting help at our office location in Mount Holly Springs!
If you are interested or know someone who might be, please contact us! We would love to chat about how your can help Central PA Operation Warm Hearts!
Support our Partnership with Community Aid!
We are excited about our new partnership with Community Aid! When you take your clothing donations to Community Aid, tell them you want the proceeds to go to Central PA Operation Warm Hearts. Make sure you mention our Partner #50011. We’ll earn a percentage of money for your donations, and Community Aid saves money by not needing to pick up donations from a bin.
Thank you so much for your continued support of our organizations.

We are a volunteer driven organization, and we can always use an extra set of hands. Check out our donations page for different types of ways you can give.
If you are searching for a hands-on opportunity to make a big difference for someone in need,

Please Note: Central Pennsylvania Operation Warm Hearts is not a shelter, and we are not able to offer live-in services. However, we have many local partner organizations who are able to assist someone in need. For a list of local options, please visit our Partner Organizations page.
